The Problem We Solve

Why Remote Mines Overpay for Power

Fuel logistics, genset abuse and zero service coverage — remote power fails in predictable, expensive ways:

Fuel logistics eat the budget.

Diesel trucked or flown to site costs 2–4× the pump price. Every litre saved is pure margin — and storage is how you save it.

Wet-stacking destroys gensets.

Gensets idling at 20–30% load glaze cylinder bores and burn injectors. Storage buffers the load so gensets always run in their optimal band.

Dust and altitude kill electronics.

IP65-sealed, liquid-cooled cabinets are engineered for dusty, high-altitude sites — validated at 3,600 m in western China.

A technician is 1,000 km away.

Every system ships with AMS remote monitoring and >150 diagnosed fault items — your site crew fixes what our engineers see first.

Solar is free but unreliable.

Add PV later without redesign: AC-coupled storage absorbs solar transients and dispatches the genset only when both sources run dry.

Noise restrictions stop work.

Storage covers night loads silently — <75 dB cabinets have replaced overnight gensets at noise-sensitive Australian and Hong Kong sites.

Industry-wide remote-power ROI pattern.

Reference-site patterns show diesel spend falling 50–80% when storage carries night and transient loads, with genset runtime dropping from ~3,650 h to under 900 h per year — extending overhaul intervals and cutting fuel logistics proportionally. Payback typically lands inside 18–36 months at remote fuel prices. These are industry-wide patterns, not ALEO POWER guarantees — every quotation includes a sized ROI worksheet built from your load profile, fuel invoices and solar resource.

FAQ

Mining & Remote Site Questions

How does storage actually reduce diesel consumption?
A genset at 20–30% load burns almost as much fuel as at 60–70% but produces a fraction of the kWh — and low-load glazing damages the engine. Storage absorbs the swings: the genset runs 2–4 full-load hours to charge the battery, then switches off while storage carries the load. Fuel per kWh delivered drops 30–50%, and overhaul intervals extend.
Will the system survive dust, heat and altitude?
The reference envelope includes dusty Zimbabwean and Chinese mine sites (up to 3,600 m) and wet Australian conditions. IP65 enclosures, liquid cooling and altitude derating above 3,000 m are standard; specify your site conditions in the inquiry and the configuration is adjusted accordingly.
Can we add solar panels later without redesigning?
Yes — AC-coupled PV connects to the storage system's bus without rewiring the genset infrastructure. The AMS dispatches PV first, storage second, diesel only when both run dry, so a solar retrofit changes the software schedule, not the hardware.
What happens when something fails 1,000 km from a technician?
AMS remote monitoring diagnoses >150 fault items and alerts both your crew and our engineering team. Most faults resolve remotely or with locally stocked spares — a recommended spare-parts list ships with each unit so critical items stay on site.
How fast can a remote site be energized?
Average manufacturing time is 35 days from contract. On site, a level pad, AC connection and commissioning typically take 2–4 days for cabinets and under a week for container systems — the plant ships factory-tested, so commissioning confirms the configuration.
